Welcome!
Daylight Saving Time ended at 2 a.m. Set all of your clocks to Fall Back!
We have moved! And because that was an intense move, we thought we needed this week off.  Then it dawned on us:  We are now using a totally  new system.  We had better do a show to see how this all works BEFORE we celebrate the 50th.  As we were weeding through papers, we noticed that Kathy Williamson and I  started Sunday Morning Live last year this time.   So, here we are 1 year later.
This is NOT the 50th show, technically.  We call this Sunday Morning Live Express, but then we had enough content to do almost an actual show. But it is not the 50th!
Goals for this year?
  1. To find an experienced co-host who would provide a link to the young ones coming along!
  2. To actually look for donations or bring advertisement.
  3. To promote SML
  4. To get sponsorship
  5. To send reporters far and wide to do stories.
  6. To upgrade equipment
  7. To broadcast on-location.
  8. To increase the membership on our Facebook on the SML page

Today’s Schedule:

November 13 will mark our 50th Show, but Sunday Nov.6, we celebrate our one year anniversary on a special Sunday Morning Live Express!

According to the video description of the original video (see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmEHcOc0Sys&feature=related)
United States Marine Corps. Sgt. Shamar Thomas from Roosevelt, NY went toe to toe with the New York Police Department. An activist in the Occupy Wall Street movement, Thomas voiced his opinions of the NYPD police brutality that had and has been plaguing the #OWS movement.

Thomas comes from a long line of people who sacrifice for their country: Mother, Army Veteran (Iraq), Step father, Army, active duty (Afghanistan), Grand father, Air Force veteran (Vietnam), Great Grand Father Navy veteran (World War II).

Street Violence in Oakland from RT
It looks strangely organized to me.  I’m just sayin’.

The General Strike in Oakland had many marches throughout the day including this march against Capitalism. Thousands took to the streets in the Californian city and shut down operations in one of America’s major sea ports. This follows last week’s violent police dispersal of a demonstrators’ camp, which resulted in a former US marine being severely injured.
