This week, Entertainment Reporter Darlene Donloe will be interviewing Renae Williams-Niles, from the Music Center about the upcoming Alvin Ailey performances. And here are the interviews I have logged from various red-carpets and on location interviews, never aired in their entirety

— The Atlanta Post’s interview I did with businessman Curtis Fralin, owner of Maverick’s Flat

— Singer Howard Hewett who performed at Maverick’s many times

— Actor Barry Floyd (He’s the guy with the chicken truck on B.E.T’s  The Game--check him out on www.purplestufftv.com)

— Roger Guenveur Smith (Mooz-lum, Cornerstore)

— Reaction to Ava DuVernay’s film I Will Follow

— Dr. Kwaku interviewed Olympian Jamie Nieto and shares this brief clip with us.  Jamie will be playing Roberto Clemente in a movie coming out soon.  This should be interesting!

If you live in Los Angeles, you have driven by this man’s business parks up and down the Crenshaw Strip. When owner John Daniels decided to sell Mavericks Flat to Fralin, he made him promise to preserve much of the original design.

I conducted this interview for The Atlanta Post.com. Some said the video would not load (It loads…it just takes its sweet time! They are working on it!).  So, The Atlanta Post allowed us permission to air the audio.

Howard Hewett:

The same day I interviewed Curtis Fralin at Maverick’s Flat, I ran into Howard Hewett at the Grand Opening of the Buffalo Wild Wings and the Trevor Ariza Foundation kickoff to the NBA All-Star weekend. I really enjoyed our chat and hope you will too!

Roger Guenveur Smith:

I first met Roger Guenveur Smith when he was in his one man play:  The Creole Mafia.  Since then, I have been pleased by his meteoric risein Do the Right Thing, in Malcolm X, in the Huey Newton Story.  Right now he is starring in Mooz-lum with Nia Long, and a great cast. He also was in Corner Store, the Joe Doughrity film, and has a new play coming up in May he wrote and is starring in  Juan and John. Listen to Roger explain it all. See clips on You Tube.

Barry Floyd tells a great success story in this interview.  I interviewed him on the red carpet at the Trevor Ariza Foundation and the Buffalo Wild Wings Grand Opening.  He talks of his web TV comedy show www.purplestufftv.com.  You should watch the episodes.  They put a lot into the production.

Ava DuVernay’s Film I WILL FOLLOW opened this weekend–Here is the video to the audio you heard us air by Leroy Hamilton:
